Except for Hitler, I think they all knew deep down that what they were doing was wrong, they just had other reasons and motives that compelled them to do it anyways. And maybe Dahmer was a nutjob also.

Scott Peterson - Heinous! Kills wife and child so he can [censored] other women.

OJ Simpson - Killed his children's mother (I can understand he didn't like her cheating on him)

Stalin - Sets some rules. Killed some people who broke them.

Hitler - Religious motivations for killing don't make sense, but in his mind he thought he was bettering society.

Bin Laden - Someone named Allah is telling him to. Definitely insane.

Just because there culture is a little backwards here doesn't mean none of them have morals. I think he's one delusional guy and I guess your right in that he thinks he's justified in his actions. But I think only a small portion of Arabs are that way.
