I told them it was from a poker site...then I said I won it in a live tournament in the bahamas and the only payment option was to have them put it in my online account. Fwiw, I go to a fairly small credit union and the lady said that they normally get between 25 and 100 fake checks per month, so they had to check it all out. Also, she said most people normally get pissed when they try to make sure a check is real...she was suprised that I was pretty calm. Ohh well. GL to everyone else getting their money.

sure, i dont mind them calling all over the verify the check before accepting it, thats fine. however, being rude to him is so unjust. seriously, if he walked in there wearing a business suit with a 175k$ check from Dell they would drop to their knees and start sucking his dick. but since they have to do a little work, which is what they get paid for, they are rude.
