I am friends with both Twin and H@LL and can confirm this to be true. Twin does this with a bunch of players. He has talked to Stars about it, and they have no problems with this behavior in cash games. IMO there is nothing ethically wrong with it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Player A is last to act against Hall and twin. Hall bets. Twin calls with a marginal hand he would have otherwise thrown away (flush draw, TPNK, whatever). Player A now might throw away a winner he would have otherwise called with because Twin's call worries him more than Hall's bet. He can't make a move because now he has to bluff into two players. There are many ways hall and twin's play against each other not signaling to others in the hand what their plays would under normal circumstances which could cause other people to lose profitabliity.

Just saw Diablo's quizzing you on what could be wrong with this. Sorry for the spoiler.

ZJ,

See if you can figure out any reasons why some people might have a problem with this.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you just divulge the big secret, Diablo? I, apparently, cannot grasp this concept either.

well yeah, but they claim not to do this

they play normal when others (like Player A for example) are still in the pot

zj, here is easy way for you to think about why some people would have a problem with it.

ets say you, me, diablo, fsuplayer, and sklansky are playing a 5-handed game.

only whenever any of us 4 are in the pot we just check it down. so only really playing pots against you, or each other if you are in the pot.

changes the game, no?

FF,

nicely done. Can you now explain to me the ethical problem with infecting a woman with herpes knowingly without telling her?

There is a definate problem with this since one of the oldest cheating methods in poker comes from this move.

I doubt they play normal if they know that if the other guy fold they can check it down.

ok, well i was coming at it from a "this is exactly what they said" point of view, i wasn't speculating about what they might actually do

obviously what you guys are assuming they do is cheating

Very unethical IMO, if I was a regular there I shouldnt play in a game with these 2 players at the table at same time under these circumstanses.
