i call. his most likely holding is Jx, based on his line and your image.
how would he not raise set or 2 pair on such a drawy flop? |

I call. Do you really think villain is slowplaying a set or 2pr here very often? Ofcourse it's possible, but I think the true frequency is being over-estimated, and I think the probability of villain pushing a busted draw is under-estimated.
From villian's POV, much of hero's range is very prone to laying down to a river push. (Due to stacksizes) |

Would anybody check raise here for value? I mean he is going to bet any jack, which is most likely holding, and he knows I'm playing pretty maniacal, so he could easily look me up with AJ/KJ. Right?

I check/call this river to induce a bluff from busted draws and control the size of the pot.

I was wasted [/ QUOTE ] I think this is the key factor. How drunk are you? If you're really drunk to the point that you're obviously making bad plays or pissing off the other players, then there's a great chance that this is just a jack. He's calling down because he thinks you're a maniac and then decides to raise trips for value on the river. Calling's fine there. HOWEVER, if you're sober enough to seriously consider folding this, then you're probably behind. I don't think villian's shoveling just trips there and expecting to get called by a worse hand unless you're obviously drunk or tilted. |
