Why did I know this was going to come up? Being in an outer-outer circle of his life rumors like that float around. I honestly don't know and would tend to disagree. I'll ask his wife next time I see her though!

Nobody. Seriously...I never thought about this before but I can't come up with anyone really famous who would know my name. The best I can come up with that would actually know my name:

1. Liz Garbus - won an Oscar a while back for some documentary.
2. Gabriel Olds - starred in a crappy movie with Jason Priestley about 10 years ago.

Both went to school with me from 1st grade through 8th grade, and I'm sure both would still remember me.

Donald Trump MIGHT remember my Dad's name. And Paul Simon (the singer, not the politician) definitely knows my Mom's name...or at least her maiden name. My grandmother was friendly with Ruth Bader Ginsberg until she (my grandmother passed away).

Keith Jackson of ABC, but if he heard my name he'd assume you were talking about either my Dad or Grandfather.

I imagine there's a fair degree of poker players who know who "Dids" is via my modding NVG. (note: this is not a source of pride or anything).

Oh wait...just came up with another. Stan Fischler (well known hockey reporter in NY) is my mom's 2nd cousin. I've met him a few times and he certainly SHOULD know my name, although I'm not sure he does.
