yeah no kidding... all he needed was a few blank DVDs and a "please" and I would have burned them for him. Hope he likes metal.

I'm gonna go with the theory that he was going to steal it, but then freaked out. Why wouldn't he just call your cell when he was at your desk with all your [censored]? If you had just left you might still be in the parking lot or possibly just a few blocks away, you could turn back.

This would really piss me off BTW.

Yeah, he should have called you - but as someone who had a laptop stolen from an office, I would just thank him for the intention even if the act was a little dumb. You would only be a douche if you complained to him about it in any way.
