the transcription thing is the best suggestion on this thread and very viable if she can type 40-60 wpm (although 60+ is preferable) and use a medical dictionary.

[ QUOTE ] Is she hot? Webcam shows ftw. [/ QUOTE ] she's not 'oot' hot, but she does have all her teeth [/ QUOTE ] She's not a 15 on a scale of 10? Teeth are overrated and hurt anyway. Less for the hair to grab onto. |

how about there is no job that will pay you 2k a month to stay at home with your child??? except maybe poker so WTF is with this question. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, you can make money at home, but it might be more work than it's worth (a.k.a. find a babysitter). If she has any niche skills (e.g. my gf's mom has a custom drape business that started out as a "hobby business"), then you'll be on your way. The problem is, you'll likely have to cultivate something like this and not expect 2k profits out the door. However, good ones in the thread are: babysitting/nannying, selling things online (but this requires hunting for things to sell and to drop things off at the PO, etc., so it's not really "at home"), phone support (e.g. I hear JetBlue has a 100% "at home phone workforce" for CS). But there's not many options for actual real jobs to be hired. More or less, it's about starting and running a home business. Find and cultivate the right niche, then you'll be set. But she's scared of variance, so GL with that. Oh, one last thing is that more businesses are allowing telecommuting, so that may be an option for more traditional office jobs. The problem here are the obv ones: you will be less likely to be promoted/given raises since management never actually sees you, have to come to (occasional?) mandatory meetings, probably start out the job in the office to get acclimated to the tasks/trained. |
