Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts

Even bad players can have good hands. [/ QUOTE ] God I need to start following this advice. This is definitely the biggest downfall for players that play LAG in shorthanded games and tend to call/raise thin. |

Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
This one's so important that I just wrote it down on paper for myself:
NO cute reraises OOP with middle trash Guessing this isn't a big leak for a lot of posters here, but it seems like it costs me about half of my winrate. I get terrible FPS when I'm deep. |

With good draws, you want to commit either the minimum or most of you stack on the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Ok, I disagree with my own line here. I have made some calculations to compare the EV of reraising all-in a set with a 21 outer on flop and the EV of just calling, and calling is much better IF YOU CAN PUT YOUR OPPONENT ON A SET and if you have enough odds to call any non pairing turn. I think Reuben discusses this issue in How good is your PLO. It is basic, but I tend to forgot it very easily. |

Re: Plo desktop Backgroud with useful concepts
There is a really simple situation where this happens, when you know he will be priced in to call with a set on the turn. if you hit. But this is talking about a huge draw where you are a favourite over a set.
