Lol why would you tip someone and then be so jacked to take $20 from them it makes no sense.
Give the money back right away. Just on principle.
But, to answer your question she doesn't assume any financial liablity when she takes the job but she does when she sits at the poker table.

I smell too much nobility here. Let's put a twist on this. Would you still give the money back if it was a larger amount, oh let's say $20,000?

As a poker player your first instict should be to want to keep it, no?

Oh hell no. As a successful poker player $20 means jack [censored] to me but I know it does to others and I insta return it in a situation like this.

This is totally not true. In poker people willingly come to the game with the understanding that their mistakes are going to be exploited. Poker is a brutally honest unsympathetic game of deception and exploitation.

Some may argue that life is that same way, but their lives suck. Though many poker lessons will teach you about how to live your life, these aspects of the game should not spill over into real life.

For a pizza delivery guy, that $20 is probably meaningful. You gotta be pretty hard off or a complete sociopath to even think about stealing it.

for me this would all depend on how i felt at the time

Good day and feeling good and nice person who delivered the food = give the money back

Bad day and bad person delivering the food = keep the money

WTF - I'm not going to let $20 turn me into a thief, because that's what you are if you keep this money.

Some kid is delivering subs in her own car, makes an honest error, and you can't be man enough to just give it back? I don't care if the delivery person is an a-hole punkass either, stiff the crap out of him in that case (and laugh in his face).

You know your grandmothers covered this stealing stuff. This is spiritually +EV, man.
