Why did you raise so much preflop in the second hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ummm because it was a typo?

Chris

[/ QUOTE ]

I still think you raised too much. I usually go with 4bb + 1bb per limper, or about the size of the pot. I still think the preflop raise here is too big.

[/ QUOTE ]

leveled? wtf, he was trying to raise 35, are you serious?

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, take a look at the OP. It quite clearly states that he raised to 355, thats THREE HUNDRED AND FIFY FIVE dollars preflop. This represents 35 big blinds! My argument is that this is far too big, even for a loose table, and he should have raised much much LESS preflop. I mean he got stacked here so gg with the 355 raise there, take my advice next time I think.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess you're trying the straightfaced sarcastic thing? It's not really working for ya, gg.

Pretty much everyone else got it, chief.

play limit!

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't spew 100bb in two bets in limit, it would take way way too long.

lol @ cold calling $355 preflop in a 5/10NL game and not having AA or KK.

[/ QUOTE ]

I found it to be a horrid call, and also kind of a dick move. Had he just moved in a could have respected the play.

Chris

Secondary Beat: When I explain that I put him in all in because I thought I had some fold equity, tournadonk villain proceeds to google fold equity and tell me that fold equity only exists in tournaments and for shortstacks which he wasn't.

Did no one else find this story amusing?

The definition he posts is from the first link that comes up on google if you type in fold equity.

"tournadonk": well, here is the definition on fold equity
"tournadonk": Fold equity is when your chip stack gets low in a tournament; it reaches a point that you don’t have enough chips to force an opponent into a difficult decision on whether to call your all in bet.
"tournadonk": #1, this is not a tournament
