You make solid arguments, my friend. "Nigerian, please" is a "funny" title, but it is not humiliating -- and humiliating Mr. Francis was the entire point of this exercise.

I may have to go against the wishes of the OOT community. This will disappoint some people, but it will not be the first time that Americans were left disappointed after corresponding with me.

I agree that "Idi's bitch" is crass and undignified. However, to call Mr. Francis a "noble foe" is overstating the case.

In the last week, he has:

1) Accused my mother of fornicating with animals.
2) Suggested that I am actually Idi Amin, the former dictator of Uganda.
3) Claimed that I have raped children who were not also my wives.

These are not the actions of a "noble foe". Mr. Francis should consider himself fortunate that he was not exiled from OOT. He may still conduct business with the Americans who frequent this board -- though this might prove to be a little more difficult with his custom title.

My current title makes reference to my favorite American program and to my campaign to moderate the forum dedicated to wagers on this program ok. I love this show because of the sassy Englishman. Also, it is far superior to "Nigerian Idol" which just last night featured a hyena in a tutu howling the song "Africa" by Asia ok. I will wear the title chosen by Idi when the time comes.

That said, I cannot imagine that a man of Idi's keen sense would select such a mundane title as "Idi's subordinate" or a title so free of subtlety like "Idi's bitch" ok. I am certain that you all and Idi can do better than this.

I would be amenable to you being banished from OOT while you pursue your duties in the "American Idol" forum. Once the current season of this wonderful program is completed, you then must accept a custom title of my choosing if you wish to return to OOT.

I am sorry Idi. I just assumed the above claims were true. I am unfamiliar with Nigerian culture. If they were false, then by all means imply that he is your "bitch". I also am glad that you will leave it at humilation and not implement the time honored Nigerian custom of eating his brains.

My friend,

As I pointed out in the other thread:

1) My mother is long dead. She was killed by a roving band of hyenas as she fetched water near her village. I refuse to believe (as some reports suggested) that she was attempting to perform coitus with these animals shortly before she was killed.

2) Mr. Francis was confusing me with "Idi the Ugandan" -- a distant cousin of mine.

3) I have never bedded a child who was not also my wife. This would be a sin against Allah.
