Haha, but if it was my first post, you wouldn't have believed me!

Well, being in a band, we often went to all sorts of places and of course we'd been drinking a lot. After the second case of beer ran dry, I asked my friend (the bass player) if I could have his keys to go get some more beer. And before you ask, no, he WASN'T drinking. Anyhooz, he obliged and I wandered off to his car about 100 yards away. My drunken mind took over and I decided it would be an awesome practical joke to PRETEND to drive his car off of the ledge and into the lake. Well....it kinda went horribly right, and bam, I owe him £1500! The pic is of us trying to get it out, by jumping in the lake and lifting the front end whilst a land rover is pulling it on a chain. Turns out that this actually did more damage to the car than the water in the engine did!

Ah well, atleast I'll have a story to tell my kids!

How do I post pics? If someone PM's me, can I send the newspaper clipping (3rd page! weyhey!) to them so they can post it? You'll notice that atleast we made it into a decent title cover for our first music E.P! lol.

Sorry its only a small one, it's the only one I could find that had already been scanned and posted on the net. I'm the one in the water bending over, with our drummer standing next to me, and the car's owner standing just the other side of his car out of the water.

I think this thread is pretty cool. I don't know a single person outside of MSN/email/forums that loves poker anywhere near the level I do so I have very few convos about it with anyone.

It would be good to keep this going or, one day, have a gathering or something.
