I would even fold top two here. Why mess around when you are deep stacked and can easily be beaten? He could easily have J10 and if he has a straight draw you're not that big of a favorite.

With a set, I'd shove because you have more outs against a straight.

Deep stacked?? Are you kidding?
I think i fold bottom two in this spot - if you have no reads on him so he probably neither have on you so he is not going crazy with some overpair or bluff in this spot.

ok, so what’s the hand range. Assume we add 77,88 and 98s

[/ QUOTE ]

How could you possibly exclude those?

Macbeth: You are still ignoring 56, 79, and diamond draws with a T (which we are a slight dog to).

Furthermore, the hands that you so flippantly add are not exactly insignificant.

this seems like a very very easy fold if you have any hand reading abilities

I'd consider this a routine fold against most players, top two would be a lot closer. Bottom set = all in, etc. Too many hands beat us here and we've got 4 outs at most when behind and often two outs, and of course occasionally drawing dead. Against any semi bluffing hand we're a slight favorite depending on exactly what he has.

perhaps call, shove safe turn? (if you boat up you can check or weaklead.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats how I'd have played it.

The only reason I might get more aggro is the stack sizes. Anything larger and I DEFINETLY call/reevaluate.

Calling blows, there aren't many "safe" turns and calling is way too much of our stack to simply give up. Folding here is the clear choice. If this isn't a spot to muck bottom two, I can't imagine what is.

I'd fold, as ur either drawing to 4 outs (b/c button's range could very easily be 56s or JT, set, or like ATdd which is even $ vs u). You're either 10% to the turn card to catch up or flipping. Fold flop unless uve been b/f a lot of continuation bets or been playing so tight that the others put u only on AQ or AK in ur avg range.

this is a pretty easy fold, and I call/shove a lot.

2nd attempt. Thanks Jim.

Board: 9c 8d 7d

equity
Hand 0: 42.887% { 8s7s }
Hand 1: 57.113% { KK, JJ-77, AdQd, AdTd, Ad9d, KdQd, KdTd, QTs, JTs, T9s, 97s+, 65s }

If we would drop KK, which I added to mix up for the less strong hands / bluffs that we might se then win% drops to 38.6%, which is probably as bad as it gets.
