IMO 3bet pf is the key here.

Good flop/turn.

Needless to say, though, Bus got check-raised by the MP player...

And totally pwned. This is a flaw I've seen with him in the past as well, you should work with him on his hand reading of the field, not just the current aggressor. I felt he sees the trees, but never the forest when playing with him... he is so close to becoming a great player, with just a little help he will get there.

You sound like a pompous ass If he called down he got owned. I think his spot on the turn is one of those "hell, I really think I'm beat but maybe you're really retarded so I'm going to bet-fold." I don't really like betting as I can't see how anyone couldn't have us beat given this action/board. Thing is, I'm constantly surprised by things people do so I'm betting. Then folding.

Preflop: I would 3bet this and get it head up.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not happening.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why? In my experience when tight players limp, and 25 vpip seems fairly tight to me, they know they don't have enough hand to call two more bets.

[/ QUOTE ]

Uh, sure.

Folding is far and away the worst of 3 options.
