No offense and I hope you guys do get paid, but how do you come to your conclusion that he is a "stand up guy?" Are u hoping he sees this and might be guilted into paying if he decided to reneg?

how u guys do prop bets that involve five figure payouts and not use an escrowe is beyond me

i mean yea sorry dementia if u pay out etc. dont mean to tarnish ur "reputation" lol

but this could easily have gone hiv not final tabling and u guys paying him ~2k and none being the wiser

Agreed. However, I think that it's hard to get the escrow thing done right away. Anyway, let's hope for the best, because it's clear we were all paying up in the event we lost.

going through his posts he seems like a stand up guy, and i imagine his concious wouldn't let him SCAM us out of this money when there is NO DOUBT that we would have shipped him the money right away.

He owes you 10k?? wtf. How can people bet this high with strangers and no way to insure collection? You guys are really trusting. high post count and avatar does not equal stand up guy. People throw around high dollar amounts like candy on BBV, but in the real world 10k is a fuckton of money and I just don't see many people letting morals stop them from taking advantage of trust. If Dementia won the bet he cleans up, if he loses he is banned from 2+2 and has to make a new name. Hmmmm..

I do hope you guys get the money but you know the saying...theres a sucker born every minute.
