started 6-table, lost the first session 0 for 8. And I wasn't getting unlucky, just playing bad as I was used to the 12s and 24s on fulltilt where people reraise me with nothing all the time, so I am calling with top pair no kicker, so that was a big leak there. Then I don't play aggressive enough at the end since on fulltilt there are so many player willing to call allin with 10Jo on the bubble, pushing with 57o really wasn't a very good strategy in most situations.

Anyway, I thought I needed to learn the game/player better, so I dropped down to 6.5s and played maybe 2 or 4 tables, still kept losing for maybe 30 games still playing bad, but gradually I started to get a feel of the average player on the site, and started winning, win back all the $$ after 100 games on 6.5s, then started 6 table, then 8 table, and gradually added back 16s in the set, like 4 16s, and 4 6.5s together, for the 500 of so 16s, the last 350 is all 8-tables, before that, it's mostly mixed of 6.5s and 16s together 6-table or 8-table.

does anyone know what kind of difference one should expect playing 8 tables compared to 12?

if you can do it, probably doesn't change that much, but for me, will definitely be losing, since I already start to get timed out on hands maybe once or twice per game, although usually they are just worthless hands that I actually saw just didn't pay much attention to, but I do remember seeing Ks folded preflop to an unraised pot, I was thinking about how much to raise and didn't realize time was running out.
