The announcer needs to switch to decaf.

Who is announcing this? I have it on TiVo but also have a Mythbusters marathon to burn through.

Last week's episodes of UPC and Parlor, as listed on the programming guides, didn't run in my area. Looking at UPC's web site, it's a muddled mess:
- UPC/Cash Poker clearance list PDF
- Binion's UPC clearance list PDF
- local schedules on the web site (the same for Cash Poker and UPC).
They show three different local channels where this stuff is supposed to be on, and I can't find it on any of them right now!
If it's simpler for those of you that get WGN, you are fortunate. I may have to watch Cash Poker on [censored].

Poor play and poor production values.

I haven't seen much of it, but from a production values standpoint it looks like the ghetto version of High Stakes Poker.

I finally got this TiVo'ed and watched it. You are so right. The production value absolutely sucks. And who is that irritating girl doing the player interviews? They must have picked her up leaving Light or Pure and offered a TV gig in exchange for certain favors. I can't imagine she attended a school to learn her interviewing technique.

The poker was fun to watch. The mix of pros and donks offered great viewing; especially the tells given off by the amateurs. It is a nice change from the poseurs on HSP. They just need to clean up the production.

When it comes to poker on t.v. I guess beggars can't be choosers. We have plenty of tournament shows, and only two cash game shows, so even with the bad production values, I'm hoping they continue to produce future episodes.
