at this point, i'm sure a lot of fans feel the same way...just too many questions and it makes it hard to root for someone to break such an acclaimed record...

Personally I am hoping that he does it on the road and everyone boos. Wouldn't that be awesome? That would be the image associated with Bonds forever.

Doesn't Barry have a PR person? You would think after all these years in the league he would learn that you don't throw a teammate under the bus.

This is the "friend" policy. To be a friend, you must have a relationship with that person. It's pretty clear that Barry was not friends with Mike Sweeney, and given Barry's usual locker-room policies, it is very likely Barry has never even met Mike Sweeney.

They haven't signed the contract yet and are still negotiating, I hope it falls apart and he doesn't sign. The Giants aren't going to be very good either way, I'd rather not have to listen to Bonds stories for another 9 months.

same here. lifetime giants fan and was a big supporter of barry but i think they're better off without him.
