SOSA is clearly a rule of poker. By contriving to thwart SOSA, you're cheating.
You can lie all you want at a poker table. My post had nothing to do with the lying, which everyone expects. But dealers should enforce the rules, among which is SOSA. I guess the desire not to show your opponent up is laudable, but it doesn't give you the right to cheat your other opponents of information that by rule they're entitled to. I wouldn't point this out as an opponent at the table, though. If I were fairly sure you were doing it intentionally, I'd talk to the floor discreetly. Much less -EV. |
