After thre days off in a row (2 on account of some bad food poisining), I'm at 37,000 VPPs for the year. Of course, I 6-table the Turbo SNGs at $114+ (while 3-tabling SNGs on another site) which are probably the best games to rack up VPPs in. I'll probably hit SNE 8 or 9 months into the year without doing anything crazy, and having a few nice chunks of time entirely off.

Pot only has to hit $8 for a VPP at .50/1 and $10 for a VPP at 1/2.

Check your Poker Tracker and show me a Limit 1/2 hand that has $.40 rake taken from an $8.00 pot. The pot is raked $.25 at $5 and $.50 at $10. Their website is giving mis-information.

We're talking about NL, which is a whole different story than limit.

I only have 10k so far, but i am a teacher and figure i will make up for lost time over the summer when i play full time. I also did some calculations that give me hope. I iam playing 1/2 NL 8 tables. I ahve been making 600 or so points an hour, but i am only gold status. I have about 200 points till plat. After I hit SN at the end of Feb i should be making about 1050 an hour. I am not trying to kill myself now, just going to try to do about 15,000 points a week until summer, then attck full force.

You don't get an increase in VPPs only FPPs, but I might not understand you.

31 k vpps here.

Oh, and I'm even winning this week (so far)

Goal by end of week = 44 k

This is easy, I think maybe they should make the supernova elite level a little harder to acheive

I can't do that, as I don't play Limit. What I posted is correct for NL at those levels.

i think it is funny that this thread has had all of two responses from people who are genuinely trying to get SNE.

Post where you are in your quest to SNE. Post anything else you want...frustrations, suspicions of game being fixed (not too much)...

21,801 VPP after tonight. Generally 9-tabling PLO8 games.. sometimes I try to bump it up to 11-tabling, but that is always a recipe for disaster. At 9, I've got everything under control. I don't really have any VPP monthly/annual goal, but we'll see what happens.

Not enough full PLO8 tables $2/$4 or higher or 6-max to get better VPP rates either.

27,100 and counting as of now, which is behind the pace I want to be on, but still basically on schedule. At the momment I continue to think it's possible.

I'm on for it. 29,000 so far.

Plan is to make 500,000 by end of may and then decide if I can keep it up at a reduced rate. If I fail the first target then 500,000 by year end should be a doddle and 750,000 a distict possibility with the option of a mad push in Nov/Dec.

Either way this promo is awesome imo.
