I am a food freshness nit and that goes double for seafood. Would never eat it past the date, but I wouldn't have bought a salad with shrimp in it from a supermarket in the first place because of freshness concerns.

dude, its totally safe. Thats the sell by date, not the consume by date. As long as its been in your fridge the entire time there is nothing wrong with it.

i was wondering if there was a funny way to describe TT telling his friend that he would take him to the store to buy him some amazing butter. then in the end, he would have his friend buy his own butter, ask for some money to buy himself some butter, and then ask his friend for a ride home. i guess thats the best i can do?

Yeah you can eat it I dont really care if you die to be honest.. but yeah sell by date != expired often many things are still good after the expiration just starting to go bad.. I am sure you will be fine. as long as it has been refrigrated all the time..
