I'm surprisingly not tone deaf, I got 77.8%. I did miserably in the rhythm test though, 52.8%, and I'm a terrible dancer.

Try the pitch test. That one was pretty fun. I thought I did well, as I can tell the difference between less than one Hertz @ 500 Hertz.

Then I found out it was only 59th percentile

I think the more interesting thing about these tests is our perception of our performance. I have always been very competitive and would bet that most others posting on a poker website would be also. I have always performed very well on standardized tests and my perception was that I performed well on these test also; until seeing the results. 69% on the tone deaf (lowest 25% percentile) and 7.5 Hz on the pitch test and I was thinking wow that has to be good until I saw that it was in the lowest 10%.

I guess the upside here is: I really don't need to waste my money on that $1000 stereo equipment

Retake the Hertz test. The first time I took it, it shut off abruptly and said I was bottom 3. lol. I re-took it and got 59th %ile.

Note: Retaking it is not cheating on this particular test. But you will get really sick of hearing the beeps after taking it twice lollers

That test is supposed to stop abruptly. You keep going until you get X amount wrong.

Well somehow I went from 3rd percentile to 59th. I suggest re-taking it if you get way down low. There seems to be some sort of error.

But you are right, the test stopped abruptly the second time as well.
