Easy call. If CO is a good player then his range should be wide open because CO can isolate with almost any hand profitably here. If CO is a bad player then you are ahead of the range he will be limp/pushing for value. Bottom line is that either way you are ahead of CO's range.

[ QUOTE ]
LRRing with AA in the CO is a terrible play since it becomes much less likely that anyone is going to raise. [/ QUOTE ]Could this play be slightly less than terrible because of a short stack that might push into a limper and let him trap a weaker hand who might try to isolate? I had a player do this to me with KK before and I've wondered if this could be a profitable move if the short stack will be pushing a lot of hands. I'm really not trying to defend the play. On the face of it I think it really is horrible. And probably underneath as well, but I've been thinking about it after that KK hand a lot. Though in that case the KK was UTG so that move was probably a lot better. Limping from CO w/ KK is pretty bad. |

BOOOO YAAAH! (pats own back)
All, Did you read OP's post where it happened three times by three different players? I have seen it enough at other limits as well. This is not results oriented per say, it is simply giving weight to an occurence that happens enough to warrant it. And with OP's stack and no read I think folding is viable. Calling cannot be faulted either but I would do it with more info and different stacks. But again, I am weak tight. |
