I dont' think you guys donk-bluff the flop enough. I do it so much, no one will give me credit here.

i do it on this board with this action almost all the time. in fact, i probably bet any flop i missed with this preflop action, but i rarely play in games where there's 1 limper to me in the big blind. if it were a more common occurrence i'd probably check more. i bluff there because it works. and i check with a monster because bluffing works even better when your opponent has nothing.

I went 12 bets to the felt and was naturally shown K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

The more I thought about it, the more I felt that 12 was too much. Even a total retard with 77 or K2 has to worry about me having Kings full before the 10th bet.

I would probably go 7 bets and call the 8th. You just see too much unbelievable crap from other players to not go at least that many online. I think after that, even the biggest of all morons will probably realize you have kings full. 12 bets is too much in my opinion, but I certainly see why you did.

Now you are just being ridiculous. It is not like this guy knows us well and we need to protect our flop air bets by betting monsters as well. It is also a HU pot so "no one" is just this lone opponent. This is not a multiway pot vs a bunch of guys who have seen us lead out with air. It is also silly to assume that we don't "donk bet the flop enough". Of course we do. We lead bottom pair, A high, total air, and all kinds of crappy backdoor draw stuff. We just don't lead monsters HU when we own all the good cards. At least not when we are playing well.

i donk bet the flop more than anyone, and sometimes they do fold, both when i have the nuts and when i dont. i also check-fold a lot so a check here is great.
youre on the right track with balancing your play, but betting here is exceptionally bad poker, it ignores the ftop in favor of balancing your bluffs with your value bets.

messing with that chance of making some bets when you flop the big nuts is dangerously -EV. betting heads up here is playing with fire. save that for a large field, and even then with kings full it might be most profitable to check.

If villain is total total fish, then I'd go to 7 and call the 8. If he's just a total fish, go 5 and call 6.

I'd put him on exactly 77 here from your description, but if he's a total total fish then the nut flush wouldn't be surprising either. results?

EDIT : I now see the results. C'est la vie

4 handed 10-20 online on small site. Uncapped betting on heads up streets.

What online site allows unlimited/uncapped betting when heads-up? I've been looking and cannot find one.

I recall exactly one time (live) where I got to five or six river bets without the pure nuts and having it hold up.

When bad players start sticking a lot of money in at the end, it is safe to give them credit at four or five bets no matter how unlikely a line they've taken.

This is impossible to answer accurately without being there to see/feel your opponent play the hand, but given your description of him I go either 6 or 8 bets. Definitely never 10. Going to the felt here would be absurd.

On a related note, I went 8 bets with the second nuts once on the turn and in retrospect wished I had 9bet and called a 10th.
