I'm starting the year with the majority of my play being at 200nl and $114 turbos, more cash than stt, with some mtts mixed in. Expecting to move up to at least 400/600nl and the 225s relatively early in the year.

i play fairly high volume, 6-8 tabling cash and 9-12 table stts.

My biggest worry about maintaining the pace is that I want to play a decent amount of live this year as well, plus I take days off here and there.

My realistic goal is the 400k bonus, but if I get off to a good start I might aim for elite.

I think setting my mind on doing a 100k month wouldn't be too difficult, but sustaining it all year would be very hard, and with two months worth of live play likely, that's basically what I'd have to do.

So it'd be $75,000 worth or stuff from the store then? And you also get 2 $12,000 packages for 2008. So thats $99,000 not counting the freerolls and you'd also get to earn FPPs at a higher rate next year....

man, very very tempting.

I can see where Assani would think this based on this language from their page:

"When players hit one of the following VPP milestones - 200,000, 300,000, 400,000, 500,000, 750,000 they will be eligible to purchase a special reward bonus*:"

The language should be changed to "When players hit EACH of the following VPP milestones"

This would avoid confusion.

You play $114 STTs(and turbos at that!) yet only $200 buy in ring games? That seems really disproportionate(sp?) to me.

I'm also a regulard at $1/2 NL. I play on the fast tables under the name 'jwvdcw'(hate the name btw and wish like crazy that they allowed me to change it).

It was just an oversight on my part. I'm very happy to say that you're right. This is actually a huge incentive for me now. I'm not sure if I can keep the pace up for the entire year, but I'm going to try my best.

wait...I was under the impression that you only got ONE of the bonuses. So if you get 750K VPPs then you get $7500 and thats it. Am I mistaken? If so, thats awesome.

[/ QUOTE ]

as you pass the bonus you get it. given the value of the fpps you spend on it, it's essentially a 1200/2200/3200/4200/6700, or ~ $17500 total for 750k, then another $25K+ in value for hitting 1 mil.

The hidden elite bonus is the bump from 3.5x to 5x fpp bonus. For someone who earns another 1milvpp in 2008, the extra 1.5 mil fpps would be worth $24000, making elite worth ~$50K total.

$200 buy-in is 1/2 NL right.

6BB/100 is $12

About 10% ROI at $114 STT's is $11.40

I think these are both fairly acceptable win-rates for both but I'm not positive.

Looks not too disproportionate to me.

Would be really nice if they bumped you to 400% at 200k or 300k.
And to 450% at 500k.

Something like that.
FPP bump only at 1-million is a little disappointing.
