if it was heads up i would like a bet. i only think because its 3 way and were sandwiched it makes the hand hard to play. i discussed this with grunch and he liked a stop and go line here. i like this line best as well. being sandwiched its just too likely that we get called and have to make a thin lead on the turn. but if we check call and get it heads up then lead we know we are good if were called and we can easily fold to a raise.
what yall think of that? |

Novles, I usually would check here with AQ, but I think you just convinced me to change my mind.
OP: fold turn. |

[/ QUOTE ] I understand the thinking but still beleive that most of the time a flop lead is called you are ahead. So I prefer to lead and then check/call the turn assuming it is heads up by then. Then I check the river and base whether I call or not on reads, bet sizing, timing etc. Stop and go does make a fold easy if he raises the turn but still leads to a potentially tricky river if he just calls. |

I actually prefer a bet/fold in a 3-way pot and a c/c HU.
As played fold turn btw. |

Assuming we bet out 11$ on the flop and villain calls. What's our play on the turn? c/c? c/f? I think checking the flop keeps the pot small and makes this hand easier ti play.
Definetly fold turn as played |

I think flop is an easy bet, typically for value. You'll have plenty of other hands calling you, alot of KJ type of hands and stuff like that.

Novles is right, not betting a hand here that is likely the best is horrible. [/ QUOTE ] I dont really agree with this 100%. Do you bet AK in RR-ed pots on a Kxx board all the time? Or QQ for that matter? You are likely ahead in both situations, but in both spots, I check frequently. |

[/ QUOTE ] I was talking about this board and this situation. 3 way OOP with very likely the best hand. As a general thought I don't check many hands where I flop good 3 way as usually at least one of the players will find a weak excuse to call but when heads up I mix it up a lot more depending on read. |

As said before, people will call with Ax/pair + gutshot all day. Orange, Reraised pots are different because hand ranges are usually much smaller in general. |
