One timea long time ago. 3000 buyin tournament with about 250 people. it was down to about 20 or so, past the bubble but not anywhere near the big money. Stacks were getting kind of short. I was chip leader with about 5x an average stack, running GREAT, and owned my table. Then I had AA cracked by an all-in 670, then QQ cracked by all-in JJ 3 hands later, then played AK, flop KK7, moved in, and lost to a K9 that caught on the turn 2 hands later. Exit me. I remember, while getting my $3.5k prize, thinking that the deck had cost me a [censored] house worth of EV, and I definitly teared up a bit.

Never cried. The worst it gets for me is that glazed look when I get bad beat, KNOWING that I was a heavy favorite to win the hand. I'm pretty incoherent for about 10 minutes after that.

On a couple of occasions, I've had a nasty hint of vomit in the back of my mouth and a pain in my stomach as if hit with an invisible fist as I croaked "nice hand" on the way out of the casino after a particularly bad beat or bad play. But I've never cried about poker.
