Uniqlo is the dominant (non) brand in Japan. their clothes are well made and logo-less. They have recently launched in the US (if that's where you are).

I use this same criteria when buying most of my clothing. Except for athletic wear (where I'm a total hypocrite for Nike and Adidas), I go way out of my way to avoid logo clothing. |

I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought at Banana Republic. Their stuff is expensive, but I try and find stuff that is on sale..
*** This is the opposite of what you were looking for, but I wanted to express my opinion about Polo. I have a Polo shirt that is about 6 years old that looks the same as it does the day I bought it. Their stuff is more expensive, and it does have that horse thing on it, but I think you get what you pay for with their clothes. |
