SEA,

"but they would probably [censored] themselves playing him HU live"

I'm pretty sure most of the guys who feel they have an edge playing Phil HU online would be happy to play him HU NL live.

[/ QUOTE ]

Matusow challenged me to play me live for any stakes, and will give me 20% of my money back. Im currently looking for backers to play him HU, 100/200 NL, $100k stacks. Anyone interested?

wowowowowowowowowowow... Where do I get this deal?

[/ QUOTE ]

Just constantly insult his play and use the word matudonk as
much as possible, seems to work for me.

I think it says a lot about Phil Ivey that at worst, he has a small disadvantage against the best NL players online - people who focus almost all their time on one specific type of poker (online shorthanded NL hold em).

But he also has a bigger bankroll and is used to playing that high on a daily basis. I have to assume that counts for a lot.

is it not also the fact that most of the people who play him know his playing style - have studied him etc - whereas he has no idea who many of the people he plays are. that would be quite an advantage for people playing him.

[/ QUOTE ]I'd back up to 50k pm me if serious

edit: 100k

Also Ivey isn't that great at NL. He's obviously good, but how can he compete with online players who have put in 100x the hands he has. He just doesn't have the experience. I'd probably play live/online too (assuming 100bb).
