Its not uncommon for some players to bail when table numbers reach a certain point.

[/ QUOTE ]

But if the chat says this:

1: hey everyone those are bots I know whot to get rid of them
2: What?!?!?
3: ZOMG!
1: seriously, just sit out for 30 seconds
2: really?
1: yes really, they will lock for 30 seconds then leave
3: OK I'll try it
2: sitting out
1: OK now

Then when 4 & 5 lock for 30 seconds and then leave, you can be pretty sure its not because they are people that think the table is breaking.

I'd like to hear what "lock" means too, and how its different from a person leaving the table.

the bot will lock up for 30 seconds, then go away.

Please explain what you mean by the term "lock up"?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are a regular on absolute you have seen people "lock up" before. I don't know how to make it happen. I think it is disconnect related or something.

The "lock up" describes the 30 second delay when someone disconnects. If you leave a table at Absolute without sitting out first or when it is waiting for you (or someone else) to post a blind it does this.

I've never seen what I thought were bots there but they way this is described it seems the bots (or alleged) disconnect on their action. The thing is that often players do this when the game gets short handed at AP. A disconnect and leaving the game on their action (blinds/antes/calls etc.) looks like the same thing to other players at the table.

I run SpadeEye while playing FTP. When the number of players leave/sit out hits three, SpadeEye autocloses the table for me, whether I am in the hand or not. If I am not paying attention (and Pause SpadeEye), it costs me at times.

Sounds like an alternate explaination for your situation.

It makes more sense for bots to be at 1/2 and higher because of the bonus requirements. Since they raised the rake threshold last December .5/1 has played very soft since it is very rare for a pot to be 10 dollars or higher.
