Exactly. For this reason, I don't bother with referral bonuses. I'm only a nickel bettor, which is relatively small compared to some people, and I've had problems being limited, dealt sharp lines, being denied overnight lines, or outright booted from quite a few books. I don't watch the board to bet steam or anything like that, and I still have problems. The last thing I need is losing an account or getting limited because of a $100 referral bonus.

I think there are places to claim these and places to not. I can respect not bothering to make a distinction since 1 error could cost a vast $$$ in the future, but a place like Cris...? Passing up $$$ IMO.

I don't know about CRIS, a subscriber to Wong's SSB handicapping service was accused by CRIS of being "part of a betting syndicate" for betting the exact same plays as another CRIS customer, i.e. another subscriber to the service.
