Default Interviewing an NFL player

What, if anything, would you be interested in knowing about life in the NFL, away from the field?

I'm doing a sports radio show on a 1000 watt station tonight(meaning nobody besides my gf and parents will be listening)and have a former player lined up as a guest. Need to fill 20 minutes, I have some ideas but need more. Any question is ok, from injuries, the women, the money, anything except x's and o's. I'll post his answer to any question used.

What position, team, and how long did this player play for?

My question would be how many days does it take to recover after playing on sunday?

how long to recover after a game?

how common were steroids?

was their a hierarchy among the better players?

did he ever suspect any of his famous teammates of being gay?

Training rooms on Mondays are like triage units. Go to running backs with 20+ carries on Sunday usually can't get out of bed on Monday morning. Massage therapists work all day Monday.

question paraphrased/answer paraphrased

Every NFL player is elite. However, on every team there are usually 4 or 5 thoroughbreds. They get treated differently, think TO. Guys that run downs kicks and punts, and the taxi squad, would run through a plate of glass to stay on the team.
