looking at this year's SEC teams v Big10 teams, who has more pro potential?

But, nice strawman.

We can cross that bridge when we come to it. The last time I checked, none of the current players have made any NFL rosters.

In the meantime, why don't you go ahead and break it down since you're the one stating that there is such a huge gap in talent with no numbers to back it up?

Joe Thomas
Alan Branch
Ted Ginn
Leon Hall
Jake Long
Pitcock
Poluszny
Stanton

Vs

Moses
Landry
Rice

This is 1 mock drafts projection. Looks like Big 10 has some ballers.

Last year:

Hawk
Whitner
Carpenter
Greenway
Hali
Maroney
Holmes
Mangold

vs

Cutler
Allen
Joseph
Addai

Hmmmmm...

ACC had:

Williams
Ferguson
Davis
Sims
Wimbley
Bunkley
Cromartie
Lawsom
Hill
Mccargo
Jennings
Kiwanuka

MT2R,

Did you bring up some ridiculous ass argument about NFL talent having anything to do with college? Get the [censored] outta here. That is one of the most tired, pointless, and ridiculous arguments I've ever heard. Several major conference players of the year don't even get drafted.

Are you kidding? Watch the draft....we'll see how many Big 10 players are drafted and how many Big East players are drafted over the next few years. Especially defensive players.

[/ QUOTE ]

Louisville has more future NFL talent on offense than Ohio State. And I'm serious.

Damn straight! Also, I think Kolby Smith will be a late round/UFA that makes a decent splash in the NFL. He runs hard, blocks well as a back, and played very well after Bush went down.

Has tOSU been known to produce great offensive players?

Pace, Glenn, Olivea, LeCharles Bentley, are really there only offensive players of note.

Jenkins, Wells, Montgomery have really amounted to nothing from tOSU.

Defensively is their strength:

And even then they only have few playes of note:

Will Smith
Chris Gamble
Mike Doss
Nate Clement
Na'il Diggs
Winfield

Disappointments of high picks:

Katzenmoyer, Pickett, etc.

Hawk should be good. the guy on Buffalotshould be good. I don't think tOSU has been known for it's pros much like Miami, FSU or Tennessee lately.

Michigan has actually produced a good number of quality players in the NFL, especially lately:

Brady, Edwards (arguable), June, Larry Foote, Maurice Williams, Steve Hutchinson, Tom Brady, Dhani Jones, Ian Gold, Woodson (arguable now), Runyan, Toomer, Law.

Busts:

Biakabutuka
Wheatley
Backus (I Think he still plays though)
Perry (so far due to injuries)
Terrell
