btw, I like my line [/ QUOTE ] I pretty much hate it. 1. Raise more preflop if you're going to repop. 2. Don't repop ATo without a stronger read than "seems loose." 3. Bet flop. 4. Fold river. |

Re: I play weird at 1/2
I would usually have put in a CB on the flop, because I CB most of the time in HU pots.
Failing that I would have raised the turn to $40 and probably checked behind on that river card. I don't think I like the river call. It looks like he bet $2 to draw cheaply (club draw?) and then bet big on the river when he hit. Or else he made a cheap bluff on the turn and then decided to make a huge bluff on the river. I think the first possibility is more likely for the kind of donk who would bet $2 into a $50 pot. |

And I'm assuming that this 3-bet size is the same regardless of your hand? If a guy open raises to $6 and you 3-bet to say $24 with QQ-AA then I don't think you're going to get much action. This is good for the cases when you're 3-betting lighter with ATo or 98s or something, but in that case you're risking a lot on the resteals. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah minbets confuse the hell out of me too and I never know how to handle them properly. Say I raise it preflop and a guy donk minbets into me. Sometimes I'll call a couple of minbets with a weak draw or ace-high and then end up getting pushed off the hand by a bigger river bet. I think that if you want to generalize though (which is always dangerous), then minbets into largish pots are usually weak hands. But the players who make them are probably bad, so who knows how they're going to handle a raise with their mediocre hand or weak draw if you decide to bluff raise them. |

Re: I play weird at 1/2
1) don't repop preflop
2) bet flop. 3) if you bet flop, check turn, as played raise turn 4) as played fold river, bet he has a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flush. |

If your rerasing range is wide and you CB every time, isn't that exploitable? [/ QUOTE ] Not everytime, but why not in this situation? Additionally, even if you think it's exploitable doesn't mean it will be exploited in 200NL. |
