Re: Least favorite cities?
Detroit is king in the US, but I agree Mexico City is pretty much as bad as a place can get. Unbelievable crowds and smog, wretched heat and squalar, unsafe, horrible traffic. Somewhere like Bombay probably comes close too, but I've never been to India.

Re: Least favorite cities?
I'd just like to stick up for my home city and say that the suburbs of Detroit are actually rather nice.

Re: Least favorite cities?
1) Detroit. Obviously.
2) Atlanta. Worst urban area ever. 3) Cleveland. The weather sucks, the people are stupid, and there's nothing to do. Special mention to Pittsburgh which is a hybrid of Cleveland and Detroit. |

[ QUOTE ] Dallas Texas megachurches, big hair, and suburbs as far as the eye can see [/ QUOTE ] so you'd rather have crime and poverty in your cities? [/ QUOTE ] Since when does a lack of megachurches, big hair, and suburbs equate to crime and poverty? I'd rather have churches without stadium seating, less pretentiousness, and less fugly ass cookie-cutter houses that are 30 miles from downtown but still packed in together like sardines in a can. |

[ QUOTE ]
I hate me some Kansas City. [/ QUOTE ] I am decently fond of KC. It has a nice downtown area and a couple pleasant residential areas. The houses off Ward Parkway are real cool (not sure what part of Ward Parkway). I have relatives that live there and whenever I visit I seem to like it. |

I've never been to Detroit, but I can't imagine it's much worse than New Bedford.
