Re: Bodog Warning
[ QUOTE ]
weird. Ive played on bodog for about 1.5-2 years now and have never ever had a single problem with them. I get most of my cashouts within an hour, and their customer service has been pretty damn good. [/ QUOTE ] I totally agree regarding the competence of their customer service. Its the philosophy of management/security department where the problem is. |

Re: Bodog Warning
I would also suggest contacting the Wizard of Odds. He is all proud of the fact that Bodog is his only advertisor and offers a mediation service with them. It can't hurt to get him involved as well.

Re: Bodog Warning
NLS pretty much nailed the experience dead on. There were several things that stood out to me as particularly shady.
1. They would not refer us to a specific part of the T&C which we violated. 2. They "reopened" our accounts and allowed us to wager more after we both sent in our information and never actually disabled our accounts until I called up to inquire as to why I could not cash out through neteller. It was only at that time that I was transfered to a security supervisor who informed me that my account was being closed. 3. It was heavily implied that further argument (and I argued rather vociferously) would result in the confiscation of all the funds in the account (as opposed to the refund of the deposited funds and the confiscation of the money won and bonus money cleared). Those implications are completely inappropriate as confiscation of funds while certainyl within their rights to do if we are in violation of the T&C should not be a punitive measure for arguing with a Bodog decision (regardless of the decision itself). |

Re: Bodog Warning
I doubt they got 20K election action from anyone else, and these 2 made the same bets. I think they should have been paid in full before closing them down. But lets be honest here, this does look like a syndicate play, and in a way it was.
Calvin didn't get to where he is today by letting math geeks steal from him. This is how they see it. |
