1. Raising the flop with this hand looks pretty darn attractive.

2. Stox should have an overpair/boat ~60% of the time here, AK/AQ ~40%. Assuming you would never check behind turn and call river with a hand worse than AQ, Stox can simply bet his AK/AQ 20% of the time. Then the odds you beat his hand are 7:1, the same as your pot odds; and you lose the maximum no matter what you do.
