Greenstein and Sebok are definitely the favorites here in my opinion. Sebok doesn't have nearly as much experience as Todd but Todd isn't exactly known for his NL tournament prowess. Sebok exclusively plays holdem. What tournaments has Todd won other than Poker Superstars? I remember seeing him deep in ONE holdem tournament in 2005. Nothing against Todd, he seems like a great player but in this format I think Sebok would be a favorite of sort.

Then it's a battle between Doyle and Greenstein, and this is really close. If I had a choice I would root for Greenstein to win, but I have no clue who would win here in the long run.

The poll asks for the best poker playing father/son team, not just tourneys. It is not even remotely close.

Doyle/Todd >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>> Barry/Joe

SPOILER, results in white:

<font color="white">
Greenstein/Sebok win.
Headsup for the 25k seat, Sebok pushes allin blind the first hand, Barry G. calls with AQ to Sebok's K2 Q on the flop, A on the river.

I mentioned the Tomko's earlier, any father/son duo would be a better addition than the Simon's IMO.

I sat with Mike Simon tonight and he told me they were invited because the Bermans needed to drop out a week ago. A quick fix was needed, Romeo lives at Foxwoods four days of every week and Mike has a win under his belt.

Does it have to just be father/son? Didn't I read in "Positively Fifth Street" that Kathy Liebert is Jack Keller's daughter? They deserve a mention, higher than Greenstein/Sebok anyway (though not as high as Doyle/Todd).

My fault. I suck. It was a few years ago that I read that book. Let's see, what else can I say here...Did Jack have any sons that play?

Thanks for setting me straight.

i somehow got that confused once too. then i tried to talk my way out of it by saying she was Amarillo Slim's daughter and made myself look like even more of a jackarse. glad someone else got pwned on this.

since the brunsons take this in a landslide we're now basically talking about who'd take second, which is a more interesting debate anyway.

i disqualify sebok/greenstein because sebok is his stepson and not his actual son (this is according to wikipedia, which is possibly wrong but i've never seen a resemblance at all so this makes sense to me). if they were blood related, i'd give it to them because of greenstein's overwhelming success in both tourneys and cash games and sebok's success relative to his limited amount of playing time. considering the disqualification of what is otherwise most likely the second-best team, i'd have to give it to the shulmans. both are expert players that have each won a million plus in tournaments and they are bioloical father/son.

as others have said, the tomkos should be included as well as the bermans just to be fair and thorough.
