It's a problem because by and large players make correct folds and there's no later-street play.

[/ QUOTE ]
Then it becomes more of a bluffing arms race, and less of a bet-like-a-robot-and-show-down-the-best-cards game. Isn't that more fun/skillful anyway?

FWIW, I agree. I think NL/PL TD will develop like PLO8.

Not if your a skilled NL player... it becomes frustrating Note, I am not a skilled NL player but I can see this none the less). Matt Flynn and I were discussing this recently as he was learning TD, he agreed with my POV and he is far more qualified to discuss NL theory than I will probably ever be since I am just a lowly limit guy.

And what is that? PLO8 dominating micro limits and LO8 dominating everything above?

I think triple draw is a terrible game for no limit. Same for all other longshot draw games and most hilo split games.

Depends on what you mean by terrible, I guess.

I agree it will not be a particularly balanced or sustainable game. But it will offer a window of opportunity for those who become/are expert in it to have very high winrates. fwiw, high stakes plo8 ran consistenly on party for upwards of a year.

Show us how your getting 5:1 implied odds if he pushes, and then you still have the opportunity to bluff on the river? I think your post has some errors, its as if you mixed limit and NL thoughts into the same response. Please explain further.

I mixed up situations. In the scenario I gave, you have implied odds. In another scenario that only exists in my head (OOP and deeper) you can bluff the river.

The guy pushed, explain your concept of implied odds here. Either that or try re-posting with a better explanation of your concept.

The guy pushed after the 2nd draw. The implied odds exist when deliberating whether to call the PSB after the 1st draw.

Gotcha. I thought you were discussing implied odds after the push which made no sense.
