Re: autism test
[ QUOTE ]
26- i am very sociable though? [/ QUOTE ] Out of the 50 questions there are more than just social questions even though a large chunk of Autism is the lack of social skills. They also don't understand any kind of "fantasy" world, for instance when most of us were kids we played with G.I. Joe's and Transformers etc. and pretended to blow up tanks and stuff...kids constantly play in a fantasy world but children with Autism have no concept of anything but reality, they play with newspaper ads and stuff that are socially real. Some of these questions targeted your interests as a child, maybe you answered them in this way, I dunno. Also, Autism hasn't any concept of feelings for others. Many times they will be perceived as mean, rude, or impolite when really they just don't have the emotional IQ of us. There are even cases of kids being thought of as gay b/c they thought they were being friendly but didn't really understand HOW to be friendly with another kid and it came off as too much. Some of the questions had to do with this as well. Many of the small quirks that we do in our daily routines could be considered "Autistic" tendencies but it really doesn't mean anything. |

29 What if you don't agree or disagree about something? Shouldn't there be a neutral? [/ QUOTE ] Fear of commitment - def autistic In seriousness, tests should have an even number of responses to prevent "3 - No preference", and force a +ve or -ve response. |

Re: autism test
I got a 38/50 and I probably would have scored in the 40s a few years ago before I purposefully rectified some of the difficulties mentioned in the test.
