Already happened..Rivera won it (I dont know how) over Papelbon..It was a fan-voted award.

Kind of surprised while there was no clear candidate in the NL, I didnt think 16 wins was going to get him the award and that this was finally Hoffman's year..

He was the best pitcher in 2006. Slightly better than Arroyo, followed by Carp. This decision seems correct.

EDIT: I wouldn't have been surprised though if they gave it to Roy O, based on his consistent dominance in past years.

I was stunned to find out Hoffman received 2nd place. I would have vomited if he won.
