Checkraising the turn is awful if you think about the guy's betting and calling ranges on the turn.

For us newbies, what are his betting and calling ranges?

He bets a set ~95%, he bets TT/JJ maybe 30-50%. He doesn't call a cr with worse than top pair, and since he calls the flop he can't have a Q which means that you are only being called by a set.

this is true actually...

so you can either bet the turn or check call the turn... if you check call the turn, you'll probably have to check call the river

He's never floating with air here, and he's never really gonna bet JJ/TT on the river...

I really like a b/f here most of the time.

When you check, your hand looks ALOT like a whiffed AK and it's easy for a worse hand to attempt to take the pot awway from you. Pretty weak fold I think.

Just to check with you guys: Say you bet 50 on the turn and villain shoves. Personally, I fold there and give up 50% of my stack. What about you guys?

bet more on flop and lead turn...i think ur weak flop + check turn caused u problems here...as played, i call the turn bet...if he has 10/JJ, he's not betting the river, so if he does follow with a bet on river, u've got a problem in which u'll prolly have to fold...
