honestly, unless there's some serious mega bluffing and really loose calls going on between the two of them, i really dont think this is ever JTs or two pair. it's gotta be a total bluff, 88, or AA

Why is everyone assuming that just because Samo posted the thread as "anyone get away from second set" that he actually ran into top set?

I don't think it has to do w/ the title of the thread. If you're 10th leveling here, nice hand

A.) Samo is really just curious (doubt it, not like samo to wonder about 2nd nuts)

B.)Samo lost to top set and wonders if getting it in was somehow wrong.

C.)Samo caught a bluff and got enormously berrated by a good player.

Ask yourself what hand he would play like this that you beat. If you find a hand, just one hand that you beat, push. otherwise fold.

This is nowhere near as clear cut as most people in this thread are making it out to be. And if you think it's automatic to lose 500bb with second set here you should definitely be ratholing.

when people play with samo their first impression is that he is a donk, which makes it so much easier to go broke here

[censored] 88 plays this hand the exact same way as AA. They are both as likely, so with a miniscule chance of anything else being in the mix, or getting better than 1-1 odds, we push.

A lot of players don't 3bet 88 preflop. I think that makes AA more likely than 88. I think this is kinda close, but I'm never folding it.

I somehow missed that this was heads up. Yeah go broke here against pretty much everyone.
