Very nice post. I think that this is a necessary cycle of learning. It keeps each aspect fresh. When you are board of reading, take a break and play more hands, when you are running bad take a break and post more hands, and do more analysis of other's hands.

The thing that I miss is I get completely away from some aspects while focusing on others. For example, if I am focusing on playing tons of hands, I usually don't take the time to post any. I could use some work on balance.

Right now I am in the playing portion of this cycle. Last month I was not playing much and totally rereading SSHE and Holdem on the Come before my re-entry into the limit hold'em arena. My goal was to get 10K hands and then move back to 1/2 and start posting hands again (since this is where I got summarily shut down last time I was playing Lhe).

Anyways thanks for the great post.
