Dunkin Doughnuts Coffee is not great. Never understood the fascination with that chin in New England... Must have started here.

They got you to play there didn't they? Why would they change a thing with money going down the hole?

i agree with everything in the original posts. this [censored] is just crazy. I have been playing at the woods for about a month now. before the wpt came to town, you could sign up for the lists with a floorperson. so basically, if you were a high limit player you could just have the floorman running the game put you on the list. no line, no waiting. now they have "centralized" the sign up. and you have to wait for 20 minutes to sign up for any game. it is [censored] absurd.

a 10-25 game in the middle of satelites with a rope around in because there is a crowd 3 deep thats never seen a god damn green chip game in their life. Some may think this is cool but if i'm playing in the 3rd biggest game in the room why am in the busiest part of the room nowhere near bathrooms food or the cashier

[/ QUOTE ]

lol at this. i was standing there yesterday. all of about 5 of us, and the bathroom is about 4 tables away right near the tourney sign up area.

you shouldnt make it seem like there is anything wrong with lower limit players sweating higher limit games while waiting for a seat.

Judging by the amount of bitching from high stakes players here, I feel sorry for dealers for the next few weeks.

Waaaaah we have to wait in line to sign up for games with everybody else!

Please.

Foxwoods ain't the Bellagio. You people should have understood that before you got on the plane to come out here. Connecticut ain't Las Vegas.

And enough of this crap about how high stakes poker players should be treated better. You aren't making them any more money in rake than the people playing 4/8.

uh... no. I dont know what the 25/50 pays, but 75 limit players pay $10/hr. that's plenty enough more to pay for a data entry flunky.

In other words you pay a lot less than the 4-8 players.

Actually upon further reflection maybe you don't, I don't know exactly how bad the dealers are at Foxwoods.

actually in the OP's case he is moving across the country in a few months, due in part to the lack of game selection around here, and (i'm guessing) the problems with foxwoods specifically. so your rather trollish questions happen to be useful here.

fatal's complaints are perfectly valid, and he likely won't make nearly as many future trips to foxwoods due to his past experiences. their entrance figures for various WPT events will be one less person because of stupid [censored] like asking him to take his bag out of the poker room. and instead of getting good publicity on forums like this, they will get a bad reputation instead.

so even when it's the only poker room to be seen for miles and miles, i still think foxwoods should care about the quality of their product.

Until such a time that enough people get upset about the service there is no reason for them to improve the quality of the product. As far as their touranment numbers going down they might even welcome that (I have no idea what their hotel situation is). Large poker tournaments are nice, but the moment poker players start taking so many rooms that they can't put up all their slot or pit players the casino has a serious problem with it.
