Seven.

My sister told me the ending before I went to see it. Ever since I have spoiled every movie that I have seen before her. (really sucked when she watched Usual Suspects the day after I did).

hold a grudge much?

It has gotten silly. We are now at the point where if we wanna see a movie that has been hyped with a spoiler ending we must avoid each other if one or the other has seen it.

i have never had a movie spoiled and felt bad about it. probably because there aren't any movies that i know of that are good only because of the ending alone. if a movie needs a twist ending to be worthwhile its almost certainly a crap movie. not to say twists don't enhance movies, its just that they can't be the sole reason the movie is worthwhile.

anyway notable movies that have been spoiled for me to some degree,

fight club, sixth sense, american psycho, signs, crying game, terminator, matrix, primer, layer cake, lady killers, actually every cohen brother's movie that i can remember (partly because they all have the same ending), run lola run, godfather, scarface, the omen series, casablanca, chinatown, and probably much much more.

some thoughts in closing: a ton of classic movies have been spoiled for me. even people who have never seen casablanca know the last lines and the basic plot of the movie, it doesn't take much, if anything, away from the movie however.

a few of the movies listed sucked, matrix and signs pops out at me. i am pretty sure i just don't like the movies and it doesn't have anything to do with some of the plot points being spoiled for me in advance.

I'm surprised no one did the Titanic "the boat sinks" joke yet.
