It's at home. They have Green back who was decently effective last week against 1 of the better run D's in the league. Favre isn't that great but other than the Chicago game which they got killed, the team has been able to put up points against bad teams. I don't think he's going to make as many mistakes as Walter made.

Giants D is on fire lately. 20+ sacks over their last 4 games. Their team is playing ball hawk D and they are beating teams on the road. Tampa has struggled putting up any offence and I can't see them playing well in the cold of Giants stadium this weekend.

I have two recievers on bye this week, and only one I can put in from my bench. There really isn't anyone attractive on waivers, but I have Colston at TE and Gonzalez on my bench (picked up for colston's bye last week). Should I pick up some random mediocre reciever, or move colston to WR and put in Gonzalez at TE?

[/ QUOTE ]

I say the latter.

Agreed.

I don't know if this is even a pointful question.

I have Peyton Manning. He's going into Denver this week. histortically he has not been that great in Denver during the regular season. Charlie Batch is available against Oakland. He's been very effective this year and I think they will do well against Oakland even though Oakland is ranked near the top of the passing D which I think is skewed due to their opponents.

Should I even think about Batch?

Capone,

At first I was about to consider you crazy. Then after thinkin about it for a second I can see where you are coming from. But, the Colts offense can explode at any second and it has to be on Manning's shoulders. I doubt their run offense is going to produce much this week. You have to play Peyton.

What worries me about IND is that DEN has the best scoring defense in the league. (That's why I made the poll above about Vick vs. Peyton).

Other than St. Louis who sputtered out of the gate, and NE who hasn't really played great O, Denver hasn't really played a great O.

Oakland-#32
St. Louis-#9
NE-#10
Balt-#22
Cleve-#25
KC-#20

Although they have played a very tough schedule.

Every so often, something like this works, but generally speaking, it's a bad idea to sit guys at the top of their positions. I just don't think it's a smart gamble.

Why the heck do you have three TEs?

Trade Gates and LJ for some good skill players. Always start Colston at TE (he's basically a WR).

I think Henry is a pretty easy choice. He will get a higher percentage of carries than Washington who will probably split close to 50/50 with Barlow, and Cleveland isn't nearly as bad as Houston defensively. I play Balt D as well
