Approximately what percentage of the items do you dryclean that really don't need to be drycleaned? In other words, I'm talking about items where regular clothes washing really would suffice and not damage the garment. Also, if my assumption is correct that people are dry cleaning stuff they realyl don't need to dryclean, what items are on the top of the list of pointlessly dry cleaned items?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well everything that says dry clean only should be dry cleaned. The biggest problem is the frequency of drycleaning. You should really only dry clean a suit like once maybe twice a season.

WTF is the deal with one dry cleaners not making my clothes smell fresh, and one that does, are they not really doing anything but pressing my suits at one of them or what?

[/ QUOTE ]
Drycleaning does nothing for smell or pet/human hair, never has, never will.

How often do you ruin a piece of clothing, and how often do you try to sneak it past them by claiming it was a prexisting condition?

actually we ruin clothes very infrequently. We do however try offer store credit because filling out claim forms is a total bummer for you/us.

Jeff,

How many dry cleanings will a nice dry clean only shirt go through before getting beaten up? Does it depend at all on the drycleaner or is it all pretty much the same?
