Re: stud games?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Has anyone noticed whether or not stud or stud/8 cash games are going during the tournament? thx [/ QUOTE ] Schneids started a list today for 30/60 Stud8. Tourneydonk thinks he can play anything now. [/ QUOTE ] We got an interest list going to 7 or 8 names but the game never actually started... I'm holding my faith though, someday soon we'll get one. I want to learn vs the best in the house ! I think I can hold my own and only lose mb .3BB/hr. [/ QUOTE ] lolz the couple times i've played in that game, i could play w/ a blindfold on and still scoooooop em like melting sherbet |

Re: stud games?
To answer my own question, the 6/12 stud/8 game did not go Tuesday but went on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Re: stud games?
There was a fish, on at least ecstacy and probably more, at my 4/8 table that won ~ $700 by the time I had to leave at 5AM (he sat at around 2:45-3AM). His PFR was ~ 80%, VP$IP > 90, WTSD% ~ 65-70.
One hand highlighted the game for him. Decent Asian busts, buys in for another $50, saying he was leaving after that busts. First hand after rebuy, he raises PF, ecstacy rr, asian rr... whatever, capped 3 players to the flop. Qs6x2s. asian bets, ecstacy rr, asian 3 bets, ecstacy calls. Qs6x2sTs asian bets, ecstacy rr, asian rr ai, ecstacy calls river: 5s. asian shows QQ ecstacy shows 3x4s 4 high flush FTW. I guess that's standard at Canterbury. I went 9 bets preflop w/ him w/ ATs (which obviously lost to 56o). Yeah, I don't know why I told this story, it doesn't belong here... I just needed to get it out. |

Re: Canterbury for the next few weeks?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I'll be there. The tournament structure actually looks okay. Let me know where you guys are staying/post pictures what you look like. [/ QUOTE ] These tourney structures aren't terrible by any means. There are much, much worse ones out there. Have fun everyone - I might make it up there next weekend. [/ QUOTE ] For future reference, just what were the tourney structures/blind durations? |

[/ QUOTE ] For future reference, just what were the tourney structures/blind durations? [/ QUOTE ] I have played every event and will play the rest. The structures are just fine except for the lack of a 300-600 level in all tournaments/all games. Pretty dumb. Goes like this: NLHE 25-25, 25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 100-200/25, 200-400/50, 400-800/100, 600-1200/200, 800-1600/300, 1000-2000/500, 1500-3000/500, etc. Limit 25-25, 25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 200-400, 400-800, 600-1200, 800-1600, 1000-2000, 1500-3000, 2000-4000, 3000-6000, 4000-8000, 5000-10000 $200 events, 2k starting, 30 min levels $300, 2k, 40 min 500, 3k, 50 min 1000, 4k, 50 min All final table levels are +10min. Live games have been hit and miss in the 30-60, mostly good at night when all us pros are out getting drunk Schneids, lets start that 30 game HU. I'll teach you how to play Stud8! Then they'll see dead tourney money and the game will be full in no time. Devo |
