SSK wins by 1 [/ QUOTE ] good game. I'm not sure why there was hostility in this thread. Was I pretentious? I understand this is gambling and nothing is a sure thing. I thought it was a great bet. thats all. I also know about bankroll management! |

[/ QUOTE ] no, you weren't... although the poster is quite a helpful guy in general (i find).... if the poster has it correct, 40% of bankroll is alot on one game (and i think CFL is wildly volatile, although i agree it is not handicapped well). speaking of which, anyone know where i can create my game-based power ratings for CFL... basically want to replicate teamrankings.com stuff for CFL (and i want home-term factor for each team too, like teamrankings.com)... maybe i'll email teamrankings.com and see if they'll add it to their menu (should be straight-forward, as i believe teamrankings.com stuff is based solely on game results - at least this late in the season). i do think CFL could easily be very fertile hunting ground for betting (huge homefield league - although i also agree there is pretty big revenge factor too) ... might add that the starting QB's are usually key. good CFL QB's i think are much more valuable than same in NFL (so watch the injuries) |

[/ QUOTE ] it was a good bet - the als win this game much more often than the 54% or whatever they'd need to to be breakeven |
